Just outside Skepshult in the forest we had rented a little cottage were we all stayed; mom, dad, Sara, Steven, Ebba, Inez and I. Here Ebba is skipping on the road on her way to the cottage.

Ebba, Inez and I each got plastic animals from grandma. Inez and I got cows and Ebba got a yellow rabbit. I liked carrying my cow as well riding on it!

Inez is helping push Ebba when she is riding her rabbit.

On Thursday grandma came to visit us in the cottage. I didn't get to be in this picture since I was sleeping....

On Thursday afternoon aunt Gittan visited the cottage. We had a busy schedule! Of course she wanted to hold Inez as well. What did a say about that cute cousin of mine? She is absolutely delightful! Gittan had done a lot of knitting and we all got gifts. I got white winter gloves, a green hat and scarf. Now I will be warm and cosy once the winter is here!

Sara did so much great cooking for us! One day we had lasagna. Delicious!

The living room table in the cottage was big enough to fit us all. I loved having breakfast in the morning. As soon as I woke up in the morning I would say; "I want frukost!".

The deep blue evening sky outside the cottage made the inside of the cottage the more cosy. Dad would sit in a corner by the lamp reading. He read four books during this 2 week vacation!

The fire sparkled in the open fireplace and Sara lit the candles in the chandelier over the living room table. Though we could often hear the summer wind move in the trees outside, inside was calm and peaceful....

....and we slept a serene slumber. I with my rabbit....

....Ebba with her cat....

....and Inez with her blankie.

During the week Steven and Sara did a lot of berry picking. Ebba and I did a lot of eating! Just look at this bucket full of delicious blueberries!

Ebba's blueberry tongue!

We had them every morning for breakfast.

Ebba had bubbles that she blew outside the cottage.

She let me try too!

The week in the cottage was quickly coming to an end. The last evening there was sunny and warm. Steven and dad barbequed some meat and burgers for our evening meal.

The little one-time use grill worked very well!

Ebba eating a newly grilled burger on the fly!
Time has flown by so quickly. The evening light outside the cottage was gleaming light blue that last evening. Bye, bye little cabin. We had a lot of fun!
