Easter and a little bit of everything

It's been a while since I talked to you all now, so here is an update on the various events that has taken place in the last couple of weeks.
Here I'm before going to daycare running around in the apartment. It's a lot lighter in the morning now since it's getting close to springtime. I get quite hungry in the morning and I ask for "manana" (=banana) and "vijuju" (=vindruvor=Swedish for grapes).
During the week we went for a walk along the river. I saw some cute ducks and I really liked them! I call the duck "aka" (=anka=Swedish for duck)
Last Saturday I woke up early and had breakfast with mom, but then I fell asleep again on daddy's arm. It was very cozy.
The weather was so beautiful this day that we went to Calhoun lake to really enjoy it.
I had so much fun at the beach! Mom and I picked little stones and threw them in the water. It made funny splashes!
So many fun little things that you can find on the beach. Here is a little twig that can also be thrown in the water.
When we got home mom and I drew with markers on eggs. Mom made some funny faces and I made a little bit of everything on my artful eggs.
Then we ate our Easter dinner. We had deviled eggs and potato gratin and I had lots of tomato because I really love that!
Just yesterday we went to my mom's friend Kenya's birthday party. They had done barbeque and they also had ice cream cake. Yum!!
This afternoon we went for another stroll around Calhoun lake. I slept almost the whole way but we stopped for a little while at a playpark. I was a little bit tired but I sat in dad's lap and watched as the other kids played. I also tried the slide before it was time to head home.

Swedish Easter Party

Now it is soon Easter. Mommy has decorated twigs with yellow feathers and little eggs and also put out little chicks in a long row. It looks cute!
Today we had a pre-easter party. We had 3 families over for sandwiches and muffins.
Here is the desert. Mmmm! We also had ice cream and strawberries.
Mommy dressed me up as a Swedish easter witch. I really liked getting a face paint with red cheeks and freckles. The other kids also got a face paint. The boys were Easter Men and Eva and I were Easter witches.
I loved the face paint but not the head shawl. I took it off as quickly as I could.
We all did an easter craft project. Lots of glue, stickers and markers...
Here I am decorating my easter egg. Stickers are fun!
Look at our beautiful eggs! Mine is the one with tons of stickers on it.
Here we are eating desert. I loved the little tarts and the strawberries!
All the kids got to go on an easter egg hunt. We got 4 eggs each! Here I am with Zander and Santiago.
