Glass is stora lass! (loads of ice cream!)

I love ice cream! Fortunately we have an ice cream shop within walking distance. It's very popular so oftentimes there is a long line, but today we didn't have to wait. We brought the ice cream home and enjoyed it in our backyard. Mmmm, summer is great!

Summer is here!

Summer is here my friends! This means I can wear a dress every day (if only mom and dad would remember to wash them more frequently. If they could wash my favorite dress every day that would be my ideal). My sunglasses from GAP are with me every step of the way. Nothing like a little style while protecting my eyes from the strong Michigan sun of late May.
Last weekend it was overcast, but still very hot. We went to the restaurang Roses by Reeds lake. It is situated right by the water so we could enjoy the a gorgeous view and boats sailing by.

The food is not bad either. Dad had a pizza...

...and mom a yummy sallad. Look at that composition!

I had some pasta and I also tried a piece of dad's pizza. A bit to spicy for my taste, but fortunately I had plenty of water to clinch my thirst!

After lunch we went down to the water to people watch. I was not in the best mood. Mom said I was tired and needed my afternoon nap, but that really was not it. I just didn't want my picture taken. I can't be ready to model at all times now, can I?

I got a plastic pool last week that I use on the patio. I love it! I can stay in the water for ages!

A packet arrives from Sweden

Lately, I love to dress up as a princess. I dance around with my plush toys, but here I'm watching Cinderella. I'm so into the story that I don't even notice mom taking this picture.

A packet arrived in the mail this week. It was from Sara, Steven, Ebba and Inez! My grandma Ingela had also put some things in the packet. I was so happy and surprised. Imagine to get a big package full of gifts even though it's not my birthday! Inside the package was many fun things, among others a great looking glass. I used it to look at all of my toys in detail.

And look at the beautiful nightgown I'm wearing! It was also in the package. I also got several books. "Bu och Bä" is one of my favorite books! I also got an Alfons book. We read it every night now. There was also a fun activity book and grandma had sent a book of games and a necklace for mom (although I thought it was mine). Thank you so much for all the gifts Sara, Steven, Ebba, Inez and grandma!

A couple of weeks ago we went to Chicago for some shopping. At that time I got a little stove from IKEA. I love it! I cook something on it almost every day. Here I have cooked some eggs and vegetables. Look out, it's hot!

We have decorated my bathroom. I now have a fun shower drapery, a great plush floor rug in aqua color and towels to match. It's looks pretty cute!

Our yard is full of dandelions. Mom thinks it's quite embarrassing since the neighbors' yards are so beautiful. Dad is trying his best to quickly learn to be a gardener, but those weeds just keep on growing so fast. Dad says it's like they are mocking us!

I wanted to help too so I ran out in the yard in my new nightgown with Bonnie under my arm. It's quite nice to have a yard now. I like playing in the grass!

Until next time my friends! I promise to write more often!
