Mornings...

Monday morning; I'm wearing a new skirt that mom bought at Target. I like it, and I also like my pacifier!
Tuesday morning; The sky is beautiful outside. Dad caught us with the camera as we were leaving. When we drop off mommy at work I always say "bye, bye". Then it's off to daycare.
Wednesday morning; I'm love grapes and ask for "mer, mer" (more, more in Swedish).
Thursday morning; the weather is gray and dark outside. There is a snowstorm on the way. Dad and I are watching TV while we wait for mom to get ready.

Fun at the Children's museum

We went to the Children's museum on Sunday. We have a yearly membership now so we can go often. Yeah, fun! This day Clifford the Red Dog was visiting and mom wanted to take a photo with me and him. I definitely didn't want to. That big scary looking dog was way too close to me! I really don't know what mom is smiling about.
I played in the room where they had built up nature elements. Here I'm in a bird's nest. I also did some Easter craft and painting in the activity room.

Elsie and Mom series

Mom and I were photographed by dad this weekend. I was pretty happy.
We had a lot of fun playing around in front of the camera. Say cheese!
Mommy loves me!!

Building with dad

Here is the first building tower movie per my aunt Sara's request. I'm playing and having really fun with dad!

Building towers

Second building tower movie. I'm building high towers with my blocks. Pretty good if I may say so myself!

My new clothes

Last week on Saturday I got a big Valentine's present from my aunt Sara, uncle Steven, and my cousins Ebba and Inez. I got several new clothing pieces. Mom thought it would be a good idea for me to show off how I wore them this week. Well, on Tuesday morning, this was my outfit. The red skirt is the new item this day. However, I was not in the mood for photos this morning. I was on my way to daycare and had already gotten my boots on. Mommy said; "Smile Elsie", I said; "No, noooo".
On Wednesday I wore my new shirt. The sleeves are a little bit too long, but I will soon grow into it. I was in a really happy mood this morning, but I ran away very fast when mom was chasing me with the camera.
On Friday morning I had a doctor's appointment. I was going to my 15 month check up. I was wearing my new red and white striped t-shirt and red tights. I was very busy this morning. In moms work bag I found plastic forks and spoons and a little tube of skin cream. Very fun to play with although mom immediately took the fork away. At the doctor's I found out I had grown a lot; I'm now 32" tall and I weigh 25.4 lb. I was wearing my black, nice coat and all the nurses complemented on it and thought I was very cute.
Friday night was dark and snowy. As soon as we got home dad and I went to the bed to read stories.
Saturday morning; I'm wearing a cardigan I got from Sara, Steven, Ebba and Inez for Christmas. It is still a bit big, but I like it. Mom has read some stories for me and I'm very busy playing with my toys already.

Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day. Mom and I got up early to make breakfast for Dad. Mom made cute little heart shaped eggs and toast for us. Meanwhile I tore out all the jars and lids and placemats from the last two drawers in the kitchen. When I was done with that I proceeded to empty a packet of noodles on the floor. It was a very busy morning, but we finally got to have our breakfast together!
I loved the heart shaped toast. Mmmm, bread!
Mommy got a box of chocolate from Dad. And a card and another little gift too. I think she was very happy! It was a good morning, and we still have the whole day left to enjoy!

Visiting the kids area in the Mall

Mom and dad went shopping in the mall last week and after a long while of riding in the stroller I finally got to go to the kids area in the mall to play. It was so much fun! They had slides, tunnels and landscapes and I loved all of it!
They even had a car that you could put money into that moved. I was a bit hesitant about sitting in the car myself when it moved so much, but I guess it was an interesting experience.
After a while it was actually quite fun and I figured out how to turn the wheel.
The tunnel was even more fun though. Look how fast I can run through it!

I love my rabbit

Lately, I have become very attached to my rabbit, that I got from my grand-aunt Annika in Sweden. I take it with me everywhere I go. I call him Kanin (rabbit in Swedish) and he is also the best bedtime friend you can wish for.
Last weekend when we were shopping in the Mall he came with.
I love shopping when I can take a look around the store on my own. Kanin also through the store was fun!
