Halloween Party

Mom has been very busy this weekend. Today Kenya and mom were hosting a Halloween Party at Kenya's house. Mom spend most of the day Saturday preparing for the party. My costume took the longest time to finish sowing. Sunday morning it was time to try it on. Yeah, I quite like it!
I'm a little cat and I even have a necklace that says Kitty.
I'm exited to go to the Halloween party now!
Mom had also been sowing and crafting for the games she was going to lead during the party. Here are the bean bag ghosts that are going to be used for the "throw the ghost" game . The button eyes are from my great grandmother's store. Cute, right?
We helped decorate a bit when we got to Kenya's house. Pretty and cosy with lit candles, garlands and a wreath.
Mom had made spider cookies. Scary and yummy! I had 2!
Lots of good food. Macaroni and cheese and hot-dogs and all kinds of little dishes.
Here we all are in our costumes! Superheros, a pricess and a cat!
Here we are playing "throw the ghost". Cloe is throwing ghosts with mom. We all got to choose a prize when we were done.
There was also a mystery box with scary, funny things inside. What could this be? Buttons? A furry tail? Slime??? The slime was scary indeed! I didn't dare to stick my hand in for that one since the other kids freaked out when they touched it!
Then we each got to decorate a Halloween frame and we got a photo taken and printed to put in our frames. Look how great mine came out!
Of course there was also a goodie bag hunt in the end. Yummy!
I had so much fun at the party! At the end all the kids ran races and we all loved it! Can't wait for next weekend when more Halloween fun is happening! Look for an update on my adventures then!

In Los Angeles

Mom went to Los Angeles for work for almost 2 weeks. I talked to her on the phone almost every day which made her feel better. I told her that we had been at Target and Mall of America and she was very happy to hear that we were having a good time.
Then, at the end of her stay, we came for a visit. We arrived to the hotel on Thursday night. I was half asleep so I don't remember much but I know mom was hugging me a lot.
The next day, Friday the 16th of Oct. we went to visit dad's grandma, my great grandma. She was very happy to see me, but I was a little shy at first.
By the second visit I had warmed up though and I gave great grandma a hug before we left.
Here I am playing around in great grandma's apartment. She had all kinds of fun porcelain animals and fun little red buckets that I carried around.
We went to Little Tokyo and had a nice lunch! I even ate with chop sticks a little bit. Noodles, tofu, eggs, avocado, and miso soup; love it all!
Then we stopped by one of dad's favorite places for red bean cake....
....what a great dessert!
Saturday evening we hung out with Shawn, Tracy, Harley, Jeremy and Jodi. I know them now and I said "bye Harley" when we left. Shawn was very funny and Tracy told me the names of all the vegetables in the salad (I asked "whut's tis one" for each ingredient and she patiently answered. I like her a lot!).
Mom and I couldn't quite sit still for this picture but at least Jodi looks good!
Yeah, fun playing around in the hotel bed in Pasadena! On the way home on the plane I slept almost the whole way. When I woke up I sat in mom's lap and listen to her reading books to me. Mom and dad thought I'm an excellent little traveller and I agree!

Rainy week

It has been a rainy and fairly cold week, but the mornings have been really beautiful. On Thursday morning mom saw this outside our window and had to take a photo of the gorgeous sky.
In the mornings I like to sneak over to mom's and dad's bed. Thursday morning I fell asleep and moved around so much that I almost fell off on mom's side of the bed. Notice my new cosy animal. His name is Mojo. What about my "kanin" you say? Oh, he is still in the running, but now they both come with me everywhere. Also notice my new jammies. I love them!
I love rain! I carried the umbrella all the way home on Thursday evening!
It's fun in the air and fun on the floor. Look, I can spin it!
Friday evening; mom and I are relaxing in the sofa. We are both wearing purple striped sweaters today.
I'm watching Yo Gabba Gabba! I have not watched it for a very long time. "Alfons" and "Lilla Spöket Laban" are my new favorites. But, for old times sake, a little Gabba Gabba sounds like fun.
