At Barbro and Hans' place in Stockholm's skärgård

We drove back to Stockholm on Saturday afternoon, the 25th of July. We had the time to have lunch with grandma first and spend some time with her. The trip up to Stockholm went well. On Sunday the 26th of July we had decided to visit Steven's aunt's and uncle's place in the Stockholm archipelago.

Uncle Hans met us at the pier and took us on his boat out to the island where they have their summer house. This was my very first trip on a boat. Wow, I was so exited!

It was an amazingly beautiful day and the boat ride was so much fun! Inez is already a seasoned boat rider at age 1!

And Ebba even more so of course. She visited the island for the first time when she was only 3 months old!

What a beautiful place Barbro and Hans have! Barbro had made coffee and newly baked cinnamon rolls. What a fantastic welcome! We all loved this summer paradise!

Those cinnamon rolls were exquisite! I had two, and lots of lemonade!

Ebba can already swim! Barbo and Ebba had the time to go into the lake twice that day and it looked like a lot of fun!

I got to borrow a little net from Hans to catch fish with. Not that I really caught any, but I got some nice little gravel in there and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I really had a good time on the little pier, watching Ebba and Barbo swimming.

Sara and dad even had the time to do some fishing. Dad actually caught a fish, although it was a bit too small to keep so we had to let it go.

I also adored playing in the water! I got my own little bucket and spade to play with.

Ebba played on the pier and did a little performance dance for me. 

What a magic, amazing day it had been! I think this was one of the very best days of the whole vacation! Thank you so much Barbro and Hans for having us! We loved it and hope you can come and visit us one day too!
