Grand Rapids arrival

We arrived in Grand Rapids the last week of March, but we soon found out our moving van was delayed several days. Therefore we spent most of the week cleaning at the house and sleeping at a hotel at night. I got my own little broom and dustpan from mom and dad and helped cleaning our deck in the back. Just look at how clean it's getting!

I'm great at sweeping! And, I also have the time to ride the broom, just like the little witch Kiki that I have seen on my Japanese DVD.

Since we didn't have any furniture yet on Friday morning we had breakfast on the floor. It worked, but it was lucky we only needed to do this one morning. Breakfast buffet at the hotel was more comfortable.

Finally the van arrived. Our furniture looks so big in this place. We have more rooms than before but they are smaller so the furniture seems to be unproportionally big

Then, my grandma Grace arrived. We had so much fun together! We both got to go on an Easter egg hunt! I got an easter bucket from mom, with a chocolate rabbit and chocolate eggs inside. Mmmm, chocolate!!

We also had boiled eggs for Easter. Mom wanted us to decorate the eggs but I didn't have the time for that. I was too hungry! I peeled and ate 2 eggs in a row. Yum!

Mom persisted with decorating an egg anyway. I helped by eating it up. That's what they are for, right?

Since I was dressed up in my rabbit ears I also had some carrots while I was at it.

Lately I have discovered that we have a fantastic playground just across the street from our house. It's so much fun to go there! Just look at this great slide!

Or how about this giant one?! I climbed all the way up myself. Mom asked to come with, but I said firmly "I want to do by myself!" "You wait for me ove-dere"

Yeah! Just look at how well I did that!

In the evening I'm tired after all my new adventures. A new house, new daycare and new city! It's a lot to take in. I sleep next to my new plush dog. Her name is Bonnie. I got her from our neighbors Bonnie and Tom in Towerlofts, Minneapolis. She is my new puppy friend. Mojo is still next to me too. I love them both. Goodnight. See you soon!
